Hip flexor stretch
To achieve the classic “4” stretch stand next to a wall for support or in a swimming pool next to the pool wall.

  • Bend your right leg at the knee and place your right ankle slightly above the left knee. Press gently with left hand over right ankle to enhance the stretch. Release.
  • Next bend your left leg at the knee and place your left ankle slightly above the right knee. Press gently with right hand over left ankle to enhance the stretch. Release.
